Executive Bio - Freda Phifer
Pastor and Chief Of Staff

Freda was born on August 4th in Philadelphia, PA, thus the affectionate nickname of “Freda Phifer from Philly.” She graduated from the Philadelphia High School for Girls, and pursued her collegiate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. Freda earned her BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology, in 1988.

Since 1990, Freda has been an employee of Corning Incorporated, where she has excelled in the manufacturing environment in both engineering and operations functions. In 2005, she was named Plant Manager, a first for an African American woman in the 155-year history of the company.

Dr. Phifer values education, and encourages others to pursue learning as a life-long process. She has completed her Master’s in Industrial Engineering and in December 2006, she completed her Master's in Business Administration. Additionally, Freda has earned a Doctorate in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

Freda has been a partner of Faith to Face Ministries since 2004, and has served on the Sign Language Choir, Christian Education, Hospitality & Helps, and Youth Ministries.

When she is not working or serving, Freda can be found reading, scrap booking, or creating. She has established an Event and Party planning service-based business named TOISE, “Turning Occasions Into Special Events.”
